Aaron Judge Breaks American League Home Run Record With 62nd Blast

Tuesday, New York Yankees superstar Aaron Judge hit his 62nd home run of the season, besting the single-season record in the American League.

In the first inning of the second game in a doubleheader at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Judge set a record with his hit-off Rangers pitcher Jesus Tinoco.

The hit came quickly off Judge's bat, 100.2 mph, and traveled a distance of 391 feet.

As Judge finished running the bases, his teammates and coaches welcomed him at home plate with a celebration before play continued.
