BREAKING: Migos rapper Takeoff, shot dead in Houston 'over a dice game'
Rapper Takeoff of Migos has been killed. He was shot outside a Houston club, allegedly because of a dice game.
Takeoff was only 28, and he is best known as one member of the hip hop trio, Migos, along with Quavo and Offset. He was shot and killed while he was standing outside of a bowling alley in Houston called 810 Billiards & Bowling at 2.30am Tuesday morning.
A picture shows Takeoff lying on the floor deceased with his head in a puddle of blood. Hours before, he had posted an Instagram story where he was wearing the same outfit and smoking.
Takeoff was playing dice with his uncle and Migos rapper Quavo before the shooting occurred, according to witnesses and law enforcement.
During the dice game, a fight broke out and someone began shooting. They shot Takeoff in the process.
Video footage from the scene shows Takeoff lying on the floor dead and Quavo rushing to his side yelling for help.
Houston police said that the victim had been found dead on arrival, but had not yet named Takeoff as the victim.
Witness said that two additional people were shot, and their conditions are unclear.
