BREAKING: Soccer Legend ‘Pele’ passes away at age 82
Legendary Brazilian soccer player, Pelé, “The King” has died at 82 years old. He won a world record of three World Cup championships and is one of the most iconic sports players in the last 100 years.
“The King” as he was often called, underwent colon cancer treatment in 2021 and had been dealing with multiple ailments in the hospital for the last month.
Joe Fraga, his agent, confirmed his death. Pelé was regarded as one of soccer’s best players, and spent almost twenty years mesmerizing fans and with Brazilian club Santos and the Brazil national team.
He was graceful, athletic, and awe-inspiring. His moves blew the minds of his teammates, his fans, and his opponents.
