“Cancel-Culture” attacks Troy Aikman over “take the dresses off” comment and he responds

After another contentious roughing the passer call, Troy Aikman expressed regret over a contentious remark he made during the Chiefs-Raiders game on "Monday Night Football" this past Monday in which he stated that he hoped the NFL "takes the dresses off."

When Aikman was appearing on 96.7 "The Ticket" radio show, one of the hosts mentioned that people had reacted strongly to his comments. Aikman then responded by saying that he thought his remarks were "dumb."

“My comments were dumb, just shouldn’t have made them,” Aikman said. “Just dumb remarks on my part.”

On Monday, Aikman was criticized for his commentary on a questionable roughing the passer call during the Chiefs and Raiders game.

“My hope is the competition committee looks at this in the next set of meetings and, you know, we take the dresses off," Aikman said.

The majority of Americans had absolutely no issue with what the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback said, many fans took to social media to respond to the backlash or what they call, just another incident of cancel culture striking again.
