On Wednesday morning, a tragic helicopter crash occurred near a nursery school in Kyiv, Ukraine. At least 15 people lost their lives in the incident, including 9 on board the aircraft and 6 on the ground, including three children.
Additionally, 29 people were injured in the accident. Amongst those killed were Interior Minister Denys Monastyrskyi and his first deputy Yevheniy Yenin.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his sadness for what he referred to as "a terrible tragedy" and ordered an investigation into what caused it to crash. As of yet, there has been no immediate comment from Russia or any reference to the Russian attack in that area at that time by Ukrainian officials.
