George Washington University installs vending machine with morning-after pill on campus
George Washington University installed a vending machine that dispenses morning-after pills on their campus to make the products more accessible to women attending the university.
The Washington, D.C.-based institution is now selling the emergency contraceptive pills after a campaign led by students.
The vending machine dispenses the Plan B pills for $30. It also dispenses feminine products like tampons and healthcare products such as Advil.
The machine is in the basement of the student center to make its use discrete.
The overturning of Roe vs Wade prompted the move.
