Judge Says NY State Covid 19 Vaccine Mandate For Healthcare Workers “Null, Void, And Of No Effect,”
After a Supreme Court judge recently ruled against the mandate for healthcare workers to get vaccinated against COVID-19 in New York State, the Department of Health is assessing its potential next steps.
In a decisive verdict, Medical Professionals for Informed Consent were victorious when their appeal was agreed upon and the mandate deemed "null, void, and of no effect" due to Governor Kathy Hochul and the NYSDOH acting beyond their legal authority by forcing an unenacted vaccine law.
“The requirement is a critical public health tool,” the agency said. “The State Health Department strongly disagrees with the judge’s decision and is exploring its options.”
