No Chinese Spy Balloon Entered The U.S. On Trump’s Watch Says Former Dir. Of National Intelligence
Since the story broke about the Chinese spy balloon, many American citizens have questioned why didn’t Joe Biden shoot the balloon down. Joe Biden made up many excuses about why his administration didn’t shoot down the spy balloon, and he's claiming that he wanted to shoot it down on Wednesday.
The criticism of the administration became very high on social media, many questioned Biden’s leadership and could he protect America. The sentiment was that, if this was former president Donald Trump, he would’ve shot it out the air, he even echoed this on his Truth Social platform. Once the balloon was actually shot down on Saturday over the Carolina’s, the DOJ begin to peddle a theory that three Chinese spy balloons flew over the Trump administration, and they did nothing about it.
This would be hard for anyone to believe, given the media’s hatred for the former President, they would’ve easily taken the President to task about this when it happened, if this was ever true.
Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe says no Chinese spy balloon ever flew over the U.S. under former President Trump’s watch:
“It’s not true. I can refute it. Former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper refuted it yesterday, former Secretary of State and CIA Director Mike Pompeo has refuted it. But Maria, the American people can refute it for themselves. Do you remember during the Trump administration when photographers on the ground and commercial airline pilots were talking about a spy balloon over the United States. The people could look up and see it with the naked eye. And a media that hated Donald Trump wasn’t reporting. I don’t remember that either because it didn’t happen.”
Not only the former Dir. Of National Intelligence dismissed the claims, Former Trump advisor John Bolton, former DNI Ric Grenell, Former Defense Secretary Mark Esper, Former Secretary of State and CIA Director Mike Pompeo all refuted the claims.
