PayPal has quietly reinstated its $2,500 “misinformation” fine that it once claimed was a “mistake”

In the quietness of the night, PayPal has decided to reinstate its $2,500 fine for posting "misinformation" or "present a risk to user safety or wellbeing." This news comes as a surprise to many, as PayPal had recently gotten rid of this rule and claimed it was a "mistake."

The reasoning behind the change is unclear, but it seems that PayPal has had a change of heart. After weeks of silence on the issue, many users recently start reporting to social media that PayPal has brought the fine back again, placed in the user agreement section.
