Russian Strikes Kill Seven In Ukrainian Market After Announcement Of Eight Arrested In Bridge Blast
On Wednesday, seven people were killed and eight others wounded in a market in the east Ukraine city of Avdiivka near the front line, according to a regional governor.
The strike comes as eight people were arrested in connection with the Crimea bridge blast. This could be signaling more retaliation is to come from Russian forces.
“At least seven dead and eight wounded as a result of the shelling this morning on Avdiivka. The Russians struck the central market, where many people were at that time,” the Donetsk regional governor Pavlo Kyrylenko wrote on the Telegram social media platform.
