Transgender Nikita Dragun Placed In Men’s Unit Of Florida Jail

Transgender influence Nikita Dragun, 26, was arrested and jailed on Monday for felony assault of a police officer at her hotel. On Wednesday she was released from the Miami-Dade jail according to Miami-Dade County criminal justice records and her representative.

Dragun has 27 million followers online across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok and is well known for content about beauty and transitioning from a man to a woman.

Dragun’s representative said the influencer was placed in a men’s unit at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami.

“The situation with Nikita, who is legally female, being placed in a men’s unit of a Florida jail is extremely disturbing and dangerous,” said Jack Ketsoyan of Full Scope Public Relations

“This decision made by the Miami-Dade County Corrections Department directly violates their protocol, which mandates that transgender inmates are classified and housed based on safety needs and gender identity,” said Ketsoyan. “Nikita has been released and is now safe.
