Trevor Noah Announce He’s Leaving ‘Daily Show’ After Seven year

Trevor Noah has announced his next move after confirming he will no longer be with The Daily Show.

The comedian, 38, released a video on Thursday announcing that he is leaving the Comedy Central program. He had made the same announcement at a taping of The Daily Show earlier that night.

Seven years ago, Noah replaced Jon Stewart as the host of satirical news show.

In the clip, which appears on The Daily Show's Twitter account, Noah says that being host has been "absolutely amazing," and he thanks his crew, the network, and his coworkers. He did not comment on when he will leave the show.

Noah's statement gives us a hint at what his future might entail, suggesting he will be hitting the road to tour again.
