Twitter’s User Growth Hit “All-Time High” Under Elon Musk According To Documents Acquired By Verge
The user growth for Twitter hit an all-time high during Elon Musk's first week of ownership, as stated in a document given to The Verge.
Under Musk's leadership, the platform's daily user growth (mDAU) has accelerated to over 20 percent and “Twitter’s largest market, the US, is growing even more quickly,” according to a internal document obtained by The Verge which had been shared with Twitter’s sales team on Monday. According to the internal document, Twitter added over 15 million mDAUs, “crossing the quarter billion mark” since the second quarter ended.
On Sunday Musk tweeted on that, since the announcement of his deal to buy Twitter, “user numbers have increased significantly around the world.” Twitter midst recently reported 237.8 million mDAUs and a yearly growth rate of 16.6 percent for the second quarter.
