UK’s PM Liz Truss resigns after only serving for six weeks

Just after six weeks as UK’s PM, Liz Truss announces her resignation.

Truss is now the the shortest serving prime minister in British history.

Now it will be contended to determine who will be the next leader of the ruling Conservative Party, who also will become the next prime minister.
